πŸ“₯ Adding an Egg to Pterodactyl

In addition to creating your own Eggs, you can add existing Eggs in JSON format.
This allows you to quickly install configurations shared by the community or exported from another panel.


1. Accessing Egg import​

  1. Log in to your admin panel (https://votre_panel.fr/admin).
  2. In the side menu, click on Nests.
  3. Select the Nest where you want to import the Egg.
  4. Click on Import Egg.

2. Import the JSON file​

  1. Click Choose File and select your .json file.
  2. Verify that the file contains:
    • The name of the Egg
    • The variables
    • The installation script
    • The startup command
  3. Click Import.
Warning

Only import Eggs from trusted sources.
A malicious Egg may contain a script that compromises the security of your server.


3. Verification​

  • Once imported, return to the Nest and open the Egg.
  • Verify that the variables, Docker image, and installation script are correct.
tip

You can modify the Egg after importing it to suit your needs (change the Docker image, adjust variables, etc.).
