How to add a map to a Minecraft Pocket Edition / PocketMine server, set the default world, and tips.
Today, we're going to see how to put a map on your Minecraft Pocket Edition (PocketMine) server.
1) Put your map on your server
- Open the game panel and log in.
- Go to File manager.
- Enter the
worlds/folder. - Click Upload and select your archive containing the map from your computer/phone.
- Once the upload is complete, click on the 3 dots to the right of the archive and then Unarchive.
→ Your world folder is now inworlds/. - Restart the server. 🎉
Easily switch between worlds
Install the MultiWorld plugin to manage multiple maps and teleport:
- Useful command: /mw tp <world_name>
2) Set a world as the default world
- In the File Manager, open the
server.propertiesfile. - Find the line:
level-name=NameOfYourMap
and replace it with the exact name of the folder for your map (in worlds/).
3. Save, then restart the server.
The world defined by
level-namewill be loaded at startup.
